We opened our doors in Orland Park in 2013 with a sim­ple idea: that fam­i­lies in our neigh­bor­hoods deserve access to top-qual­i­­ty pro­fes­sion­al solu­tions to pro­tect their homes — with­out bust­ing their budgets. 

Since then, Fam­i­ly Water­proof­ing has grown to become the region’s val­ue leader in base­ment water­proof­ing and water reme­di­a­tion — and we have 10,000 sat­is­fied cus­tomers and count­ing to prove it.

At Fam­i­ly, we don’t just aim to make a prof­it, we strive to make a dif­fer­ence for our cus­tomers and our neigh­bor­hoods. We served our coun­try hon­or­ably and those same val­ues of hon­esty, integri­ty and ser­vice are at the core of our busi­ness. In fact, Fam­i­ly is the first vet­er­an-owned water­proof­ing busi­ness in Illi­nois and Indiana. 

Locat­ed on the south side of Chica­go, we serve home­own­ers and busi­nesses in Chicagoland and North­west Indi­ana. And we con­tin­ue to expand our ser­vices to pro­vide our cus­tomers with the lat­est solu­tions. Recent­ly, we added gut­ter and down­spout clean­ing to our Water Man­age­ment ser­vices. In fact, many base­ment seep­age issues we encounter are direct­ly relat­ed to roof water.

But the fact is, we got our start as a home­own­er — just like you. Soon after we closed on our first home, water began seep­ing into our nice fin­ished base­ment, result­ing in an expen­sive tear-out and remod­el. That expe­ri­ence taught us the impor­tance of a dry, healthy base­ment. And led to our careers, all the while build­ing expe­ri­ence in every aspect of the busi­ness — from labor­er to our Fam­i­ly own­er­ship today. In oth­er words, we know base­ments inside and out.
