Roof water plays a major role in many base­ment leaks. If you can elim­i­nate or con­trol your gut­ter issues, your per­cent­age of main­tain­ing a dry base­ment increas­es. This is sim­ple math, less water touch­ing your foun­da­tion equals less base­ment leaks. 

Roof water can have its own chal­lenges as it makes its way through your gut­ters and down­spouts. We are not a gut­ter replace­ment com­pa­ny, but our ser­vices can assist in help­ing your gutter’s per­for­mance. Gut­ters may expe­ri­ence the fol­low­ing issues: 

• Down­spouts may dis­charge water too close to the foun­da­tion. Gen­er­al rule is to try and extend the water approx­i­mate­ly ten feet away from the foundation

• Gut­ters may have sags or oth­er minor imper­fec­tions that lim­it or impede the flow of the roof water. Cor­rect­ing these issues can save the cost of replacing

• Gut­ter cov­er­ings may not always work as expect­ed. While we under­stand the ben­e­fits of cov­er­ings, not every house is a good can­di­date for them. Some­times remov­ing the cov­ers are the best option

• Gut­ters and down­spouts are clogged. Semi-annu­al clean­ing can elim­i­nate a lot of gut­ter issues. Con­tact us to sched­ule your clean­ing and main­te­nance checks
